Ironcrest is located at 6309 Iron Horse Boulevard, North Richland Hills, TX 76180, in the desirable Iron Horse neighborhood. The community sits directly behind the Iron Horse TexRail Station, providing unmatched transit access, and is just minutes from I-820 and Highway 377 for easy freeway commutes throughout the DFW metroplex. 

The leasing office at Ironcrest is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The office is closed on Sundays.

Ironcrest's most distinctive location feature is the Iron Horse TexRail Station situated directly behind the community — offering direct, car-free rail service to DFW International Airport, downtown Fort Worth, and throughout the metroplex. The TexRail line runs from downtown Fort Worth (T&P Station) east to DFW Airport Terminal B, with stops including Mercantile Center, City View, Grapevine Main Street, and several others along the route. Trains run regularly on weekdays and weekends, making car-free commuting and airport travel genuinely convenient for Ironcrest residents. By car, residents are also minutes from Peppa Pig Theme Park, Malibu Jack's indoor entertainment center, NRH2O Family Water Park, and the Northeast Mall. DFW International Airport is approximately 18 miles (25 minutes) away, and Dallas Love Field is about 27 miles (35 minutes). 

Ironcrest residents enjoy excellent grocery options nearby. WinCo Foods on Rufe Snow Drive (approximately 1.5 miles) is a beloved employee-owned discount supermarket open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Albertsons on Rufe Snow Drive in Watauga (approximately 1.3 miles) is a full-service supermarket open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM. A Walmart Supercenter on NE Loop 820 (approximately 1.5 miles) provides one-stop shopping for groceries and general merchandise. 

Ironcrest residents have great dining nearby. Boulevard Cafe on Davis Boulevard (approximately 1.5 miles) is a highly rated neighborhood gem serving outstanding breakfast and lunch with a homestyle touch. Cocodrie's Bayou Kitchen on Rufe Snow Drive (approximately 1.5 miles) is a celebrated authentic Cajun restaurant. Blue Mound Cafe on Hilltop Drive (approximately 1.5 miles) is a classic American diner open early daily. The Thirsty Turtle Bar and Grill on Rufe Snow Drive offers a lively neighborhood bar-and-grill experience with live music. 

Coffee options near Ironcrest include 151 Coffee on Rufe Snow Drive (approximately 1.3 miles), a beloved local independent coffee shop known for fast, friendly service and a wide drink menu, open daily from 6 AM. Dutch Bros Coffee on Rufe Snow Drive (approximately 1.5 miles) offers extended hours from 5 AM daily. 

Liberty Park on Holiday Lane (approximately 1.3 miles) is a beautiful community park featuring a pond, playground, picnic gazebo, veterans memorial, and access to the Cotton Belt Trail for walking and cycling. Richfield Park on Chapman Road (approximately 0.8 miles) offers basketball courts, baseball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, and a walking trail. Linda Spurlock Park on Glenview Drive (approximately 2.5 miles) is a family-friendly destination with a pond, playground, and walking path. 

Ironcrest offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 592 to 1,232 square feet. With 13 distinct layout options, residents can find the perfect fit whether they're looking for a compact studio or a spacious two-bedroom home. 

Every apartment at Ironcrest features granite countertops, kitchen islands, stainless-steel appliances, modern flat-panel cabinetry, in-home washer and dryer, and large closets. Select homes offer upgraded finishes and private patios or balconies. Well-lit living spaces and chic interior details create a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout. 

Ironcrest features a lap-inspired swimming pool with a sun shelf, poolside loungers and umbrellas, cabanas, and hammocks for relaxing outdoors. A 24-hour fitness center with a spin room keeps residents active, while the cinema lounge, co-working lounge, game room, and business center offer spaces to work and unwind. The community's Smart Mart is a tech-enabled convenience store stocked with a premium selection of fresh snacks, drinks, and essential household items at budget-friendly prices — residents simply scan a credit card to unlock and grab what they need, any time of day. Charming courtyards with fire pits, grills, and lounge seating create welcoming outdoor gathering spots. Pet amenities include a fenced dog park and a pet washing station.

Yes. Ironcrest Apartments provides an online resident portal for convenient rent payments, community communications, and account management. 

In addition, residents can connect with Piper, our 24/7 Resident AI Assistant, by phone, text, or email for quick answers about the community, submitting maintenance requests, rent reminders, and help getting connected to the on-site team when needed. Maintenance requests can now be submitted directly through Piper by calling or texting 866-285-3563 or by emailing [email protected], making support faster and easier without needing to log into the resident portal.

Ironcrest warmly welcomes cats and dogs, with up to two pets allowed per apartment home. The community features a fenced dog park and a pet washing station for residents’ convenience. A one-time, non-refundable fee of $400 per pet and monthly pet rent of $25 per pet apply. Breed restrictions apply.
